I’ve been dreaming about having caviar on Martha’s Vineyard for almost a decade.
And this August, that dream is finally becoming real.
A Dream That Started Before Caviar Dream
In the summer of 2020, I opened CabanaX, a 100-seat, tropical destination-themed pop-up created in an effort to save my first restaurant, Bar Helix.
At a time when the world had stopped traveling, CabanaX gave our guests a way to escape without leaving Denver. Every few weeks, we transported them somewhere new through food, cocktails, music, and atmosphere.
One of the destinations I dreamed up was Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard.
There was only one problem: I had never actually been there.
Still, I felt certain that I would love it. I was drawn to everything Oak Bluffs represented—its vibrant history, colorful architecture, rich Black cultural legacy, and generations of families gathering on the Vineyard each summer.
COVID-19 ultimately forced me to close both CabanaX and Bar Helix. But even after those doors closed, I never lost the desire to experience the magic of Martha’s Vineyard for myself.
Caviar Dream Is Coming to Oak Bluffs
Fast-forward to today, and the dream is coming full circle.
From August 10–19, 2026, Caviar Dream will take up residence on Martha’s Vineyard—and, if you can believe it, our home base will be right in Oak Bluffs.
During our 10-day Martha’s Vineyard residency, we’ll be:
- Popping up at select summer parties and public events
- Creating elevated caviar experiences for private gatherings
- Catering intimate dinners, celebrations, and special occasions
- Introducing more people to the joy, ritual, and deliciousness of caviar
In other words, we’ll be spreading the caviar gospel all across the island.
